Motorola Edge: 2021, 2022, or 2022 Plus?

Thinking about picking up a phone next month, as the screen blemish on my Razr is becoming a bit more noticeable. I was looking at Boost Mobile a week ago, and they were offering a Motorola Edge for $300 off! Hopefully the deal lasts long enough that I can save up for this unit. The Edge phones have good reviews for a mid-range device. One noticeable benefit to the 2021 Edge is that it has a 700 series Snapdragon! That means some strong processing power, and 5G!

Nordstream has developed a leak, and Texas will freeze again this winter.

Nordstream 2 has developed a leak, just as winter approaches. I’m too old and seasoned to believe in coincidence when it comes to geopolitical events, anymore. The Russians are going to let Europe freeze, I guess.

The 2022-23 Winter Forecast by the Farmer’s Almanac shows relief for the West, punishment for Texas, and a normal winter for my area. We haven’t had a normal winter here since I moved here, so here’s hoping for an accurate forecast, for my region.

Doom and Gloom Report September 2022

It has been a difficult year so far, and the situation is looking more grim than usual.

Europe is facing a long winter, without heating! One can only wonder how the people who make policy think they will escape the wrath of a continent without gas and affordable, or even reliable, electricity. I suppose people who have no tenable connection to reality think that it will bend to their whims.

In North America, Canada is living under continued draconian rule by a milquetoast dictator, while the United States is falling into ruin criminally. The US President fades in and out of awareness while flatulating vocally, raising the prospects of an ouster before his term is up. Mexico is enjoying relative prosperity, as Americans look south of the border for better prospects. Mexico City is beginning to reject the new imports of American bourgeoisie, as they make the country more unaffordable to the native population. Fentanyl is being trafficked across the Rio Grande by the ton, as are millions of refugees from across the world, looking to a mirage of opportunity in America.

In Asia, Australia and New Zealand are still in the grip of Covid hysteria, as the screws are being tightened on the everyday inhabitants. China’s faltering economy is being assaulted by lockdowns in major industrial centers, and the population is refusing en masse to continue to pay into the real estate ponzi scheme. Japan is now facing a difficult time keeping their economy afloat, as three decades of success at dodging the consequences of the 90s economic blowout seems to be failing. Taiwan is facing down a rabid aggression in the Straits, with American interference stoking tensions that have reached a boiling point. Promised military aid by Biden in the event of an invasion, is quickly walked back by the actual rulers of the White House, as China is cementing a defacto blockade of the island nation. India is going cashless and is also putting the ‘I’ in BRICS, leaving the Western World Order for rosier prospects.

Africa is facing mass starvation, as Ukrainian and Russian agricultural exports are strangled by the NATO led expansion into Ukraine, and the obviously fearful Russians, who are threatening nuclear war at a shrill pitch.

All continents are now seeing the prospect of nuclear winter more really as ever before, while censorship in all forms of media is truly monolithic and comprehensive. The heady days of freedom of speech are mostly over now, as the Mockingbird media in the West and the Sino-Russian narratives are all that remain as acceptable speech. Religious freedom is not free, but the blood of millions of martyrs is flowing, as the Secular Humanists at the WEF promise a future where people will own nothing, but somehow be happy.

Finally, Queen Elizabeth has passed away. Her son is now king, ushering in the Great Reset he proclaimed at the start of the P(l) andemic.

2022 has been a train wreck so far, and we have all been passengers.

Winter is coming.
